This ‘hatch’ started as the idea of humpty dumpty and morphed into something more representative of all the sci-fi movies I’ve been watching lately. The costumes in The Fifth Element by Jean-Paul Gautier are really stunning, for example.

This piece reminds me of the Pinball ‘Count to Twelve’ from Sesame Street, if only because I get that song stuck in my head. You can wax nostalgic and “eleven TWELVE” by checking out the youtube video.

- Boston's Ugly BuildingsI still remember the first time I ever came to Boston - it was a field trip to the Museum of Science as the final day of 'Science Camp.' I'm a nerd, OK? Anyways, I recall the tour we took and noting quite a few of these 'ugly Boston buildings'. The only sour note is that my favourite building in Boston also made this list of ugly 'architectural treasures'
- Fat Orange Cat StudioAn amazing local (Boston) photography studio that specializes in weddings and pets. Their pet photography, in particular, is so amazing. Who doesn't love a cute, cuddly little friend?
- Jerry Seinfeld's Productivity Secret'Don't break the chain' - it's a mantra that, unlike most things, becomes easier as you go along. Work at something every day, no matter how briefly, and keep on keeping on and the results will come. Now we know how Seinfeld consistently produced comedy gold for years and like George Costanza - went out on a high note. Well, ratings-wise, I personally thought the finale was terrible.
- Bison CeramicsYou know how I love anything Buffalo-related, so I couldn't resist linking this amazing Sydney-based studio. They will be opening up a retail shop online in 2010, but for now you can e-mail orders. (Hint, hint - they make great presents!)
